In this rigorous one-year course, students will learn to create animate 3D digital objects; audio and special effects will be added to animated scenes to produce miniature movies.
Broad concepts covered in this course also include story and script development, character design, storyboarding, 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, animation and rendering. Other related elements will also include special effects, sound and post production, to provide a comprehensive understanding of all stages of creating a project and completing it.
Students will work both independently, and in small groups to produce animated (or) VFX sequences. Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Maya and Nuke are the primary software for this class.
